We're back on the Attack on Titan: Final Season grind as we decide to spice things up by covering both episodes 4 & 5. In this episode, Rivena and Xanza take their respective corners as they defend their stances regarding the motivations behind the actions of the most prestigious family in all of Marley: the Tybur family. We take it a step further as we dissect and pick apart the "true" Eldian history that is revealed and how these two episodes reshape the entire tone of the AoT going forward. I hope you all have your thinking caps on deck because we're diving deep on this one otaku fam.
Weee're back! After a small break, we decide to return with one of our favorite animated webtoons to premiere in 2020: Tower of God! Xanza and Rivena open the conversation with an extended discussion about the good, the bad, and the very ugly that is Rachel and Bam's relationship and how she introduces a dynamic that isn't common in anime. We also cover the various characters and how their personalities along with Bam's mesh with the overall plot. Did we mention that this episode is (somewhat) spoiler-free?
I'm gonna be upfront with you guys, there isn't any specific topic centered around this episode per se, except the fact that me (Xanza) and Rivena felt it was high time we opened the conversation about out everybody's favorite orange jumpsuit wearing ninja- Naruto!
In this episode, we experiment with a "touch and go" approach as we bounce between some of our favorite (and not-so favorite) moments in Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden as we compare thoughts, opinions, and even conspiracies...We even take the time to theorize why we think a vocal portion of the Naruto fandom have gripes with Boruto as a whole.
You don't want to miss this one! Believe it! (Sorry y'all, you know I had to...)
On today's menu, we decide to get back to our bread and butter with an episode analysis of the third episode of Attack on Titan: Final Season! In this episode, Xanza and Rivena take opposing stances when it comes to interpreting Reiner's backstory and upbringing. Join us as we dissect the decisions and events that eventually lead up to eventful day that forever changed the fates of Eren, and everyone on Paradise as we know it.
In this episode, we decide to switch things up and dive into one of the hottest new anime to hit 2020 - Jujutsu Kaisen! Rivena and Xanza give their personal reviews and analysis of the first episode (and keeping it spoiler-free of course) while breaking down what we think makes the new series so popular. Especially when we make a side-by-side comparison with one of our old, "Big 3" Shonen favorites; Bleach! (not-so spoiler free, sorry not sorry folks).
Welcome to the Brain-ime Podcast!
Episode 1! Now where do we begin? At the time of this recording, we haven't settled on a title for the podcast just yet but that didn't stop us from jumping right in with our initial reactions from the last season of Attack on Titan. Join us, Xanza and Rivena, as we breakdown the first episode of the fourth season while recalling key events from previous ones.
In this episode, Xanza and Rivena keep the Attack on Titan: Final Season hype train going with an in-depth breakdown of the second episode following the Marleyan's victory over Fort Salva. Here we analyze key scenes and characters, both old and new, to gain a better understanding of the current state of affairs in Marley as we get a glimpse of the day in the life of the Eldian race via Reiner's point of view.
