We give single-minded devotion to Jesus. (3:13-18)
We willingly sacrifice everything for Jesus. (4:1-8)
We publicly declare our love for Jesus. (4:9-4:13)

1. We give ourselves for sacrificial love. (v.1-5)
2. We commit ourselves to costly love. (v.6-9)
3. We respond to God’s redemptive love. (v.10-13)

1. We need to recognize that we are bent toward brokenness and bitterness.

2. We need to trust that God is providing, even in our bitterness.

3. We must be grateful that God is often blessing us beyond what we deserve.

4. We must rest in God’s provision of ultimate redemption.

1. Our presence as a SENT PEOPLE is a result of God’s good plan.

2. Our responsibility as a SENT PEOPLE is to integrate into society, not escape from it.

3. Our presence and goals as a SENT PEOPLE should lead to the blessing of our city.

4. Our work as a SENT PEOPLE is a foreshadowing of God’s ultimate restoration.

1. We disciple the believer when we speak the gospel of God.

2. We disciple the believer when we give our lives.

3. We disciple the believer when the believer imitates Jesus.

4. We disciple the believer when we become family.
