So we know we all sinful but are each one of ALL sinful? What is total

depravity and am I totally depraved? Today we talk about the sinfulness of

man as Paul shifts from quieting his internal critic to moving forward with

his overall argument of the verdict handed down to all by the Judge.

Today we begin to answer a question that will linger throughout the rest of

Romans - How can God be both sovereign and good while man suffers in sin?

Paul’s first true “heckler” moment is spent arguing about how if our sin in

a way brings glory to God then why should I be condemned for it? It’s a

complicate question, but today we begin to find a reliable and inspired

On today’s episode we turn our attention to Romans 3. Some have called this specific section the most difficult paragraph to understand in the entire epistle. Is that true? What was the use of having the OT Law if Gentiles

were on the same level as the Jewish people?

Why did God require circumcision? Did it mean all Jews were saved? I the

closing section of Romans 2, Paul answers this and helps us to understand

that God is after our hearts not our physical obedience only. I pray this

Does living in “Christian” country or culture matter? On this episode we

continue to work our way through Romans 2 and Paul’s explanation of the

Judge that all will owe an explanation in the end. We turn our focus to

those who have the law and both their responsibility in keeping that law

and failure in doing so.
