  • Why Doesn’t God Destroy Us Now? // Romans 2:1-5
I’m excited to return to studying out the Book of Romans on Saturday
mornings. Every Saturday morning we will be going deep through the text in
order to better understand this epistle and the Gospel it’s meant to
explain. While every Book in the Bible is important, this one is special!
No other book speaks so clearly about the necessary components and
innerworkings of the Gospel. This week we begin studying chapter 2 and in
doing so further develop a proper understanding of God’s judgment toward
sinners and their desperate need for a redeemer. It is my prayer that you
would be edified through this study. If you have any questions feel free to
leave a comment below. Soli Dei Gloria!

  • Marking Up Romans // Romans 1:21-32
In this week’s study we turn our attention to Paul’s closing words of the
chapter. In doing so, we see see the history of sin. Paul clearly teaches
that sin is not just a choice, it is our very nature. He answers the
question, where does sin come from? And what exactly is sin anyways?

  • Marking Up Romans // Romans 1:18-20
This week we turn our attention to the wrath of God. While this is a
subject that many try to avoid, it is one of the central themes of Paul’s
epistle. Martin Lloyd Jones said this about the wrath of God in this text,
“You cannot understand the Gospel without understanding it. This is the
section that shows us the absolute necessity of the Gospel.” Why do we need
salvation? Why do we need the Gospel? This text shows us the answer.

  • Marking Up Romans // Romans 1:16-17
This week we find ourselves studying some of the most famous words in the
book of Romans. What does it mean that Paul is not ashamed of the Gospel?
Is there anything causing you to be ashamed of that same Gospel? This text
tells us why we can be confidant in the Gospel.

  • Marking Up Romans // Romans 1:8-15
Welcome back to week 2 of our Saturday morning Bible study series during
the Covid-19 pandemic. This week we will walk through verses 8-15 of Romans
1, looking at Paul’s desire to visit the Roman believers. In describing
this desire, Paul teaches us quite a bit about the will of God and what it
looks like to disciple one another in the local church. I trust that God’s
Word can be a help to you during this difficult time in the world. If you
need someone to talk to please feel free to send an email. Soli Deo Gloria

  • Marking Up Romans // Romans 1:1-7
I’m starting a Saturday morning Bible study for the foreseeable future.
Nothing fancy, just walking through the text of Romans. I hope that it can
be an encouragement for those who are wanting some hope and comfort with
all the chaos happening in the world today and churches being unable to
meet. This study is breaking down the introduction, 1:1-7.
