Who is Timothy Haygood?

Every superhero has a real person behind the character…and behind the superhero of Banjo Boy is none other than Timothy Haygood. After watching a violinist on TV at 5 years old, he knew that music was in his future and begged his mom for violin lessons. Who is Jamie Haage?

While there is every chance most folks recognize him as his alter ego "Jim Dandy," make no mistake, Jamie is one of the most talented musicians, vocalists and comedians in this town. Not only is he talented, but he's also versatile, and plays the piano, drums, banjo, fiddle and steel guitar by ear.

Born and raised in the Ozarks, Jamie has been a staple in the Branson entertainment scene for more than 30 years. He comes from a family steeped in musical talent and tradition, and he proudly carries on that tradition.

Who is Rick Thomas? Few entertainers have succeeded in Vegas like Rick Thomas. His show had run consecutively for 15 years in Las Vegas, performing a staggering 600 shows a year. Rick now tours performing the most intriguing and innovative grand illusions in the world with a style unlike any other magical entertainer. Who is Mike Patrick? Mike Patrick has been a part of the Branson show business scene for more than 25 years and is one of the most respected and admired producers and performers in the area. In 2003, he joined Grand Country as General Manager of Grand Country Music Hall where his Silver Dollar City experience came in handy in putting some of Branson's most popular shows together.

You never know who you are going to meet in Branson. This week, I met James Megellas. Preparing for his 100th birthday, James was an amazing person to sit down with. Just a few things I learned about Mr Megellas:

-He is the most decorated officer in the 82nd Airborne

-Recently had a post office renamed in his honor

-Published his book "All The Way to Berlin" in his 80s

-Was honored in Holland for his role in a liberation campaign in World War II

-In his 90s, gave out 5,000 books to troops in Afghanistan

-He still has a lot more to accomplish

Who is Terry Sanders? Terry is one of the busiest comedians in Branson. Performing for over 38 years, he can regularly be seen at several venues throughout the year. If you have ever been to Silver Dollar City, you have surely seen one of his characters. He also currently appears in the Patsy Cline and Friends show starring CJ Newsome.
