There’s barely time to tackle the science fiction topic….about which I got sort of impassioned……but we’ll get back to this topic again soon, I promise

Episode 95 (the one you’ll hear anyway) is a tiny recap of what our heroine purchased at stitches, how she enjoyed the Meet and Greek, Kiss Miss K day, and how she feels about Voyager vs. Deep Space 9 now that she’s 7 seasons in.

Episode 94 is exciting, it’s action-packed, it’s….about Mega Python vs. Gateroid? Ah well, join Jasmin of the Knitmore Girls (you can find the podcast on iTunes) as she and Miss K discribe some weaving, knitting, and giant freaking gators and pythons – and also the mystery of what exactly is a gateroid.

In Episode 93, Miss K tackles a few key aspects of making your own steampunk costume after talking for about 20 minutes about all of her finished items!

In Ep 92, Miss K and the lovely Jasmin Knitmore discuss what they are working on as well as some lovely Monster Movie starring teen idol, teen pop princess, teen bundle of saavy fashion, Tiffany. This, of course, harkins back to when they watched Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus with Deborah Gibson.

Ep 91 has a longer-than usual crafting segment where I get down and dirty about the tardis socks. But hey, at least they are done! As are a few other things (Finally!)

The Sci-Fi portion uses the movie Surrogates (2009 – w/ Bruce Willis) as a jumping-off point to talk about personal risk every day, the ability to live as someone else and what that might mean for those who are seeking gender-reassignment surgery or who those who need to learn what it’s like to be someone else for a while to curb things like racism. As always, I hope it’s entertaining – and welcome your comments!

Episode 90 is about Transformers! Well, the new movie, anyway. There is also a short tirade from Miss K at the beginning about the re-commercialization of stuff she loved from her childhood (by way of explaining why she only just now saw this movie).

In Episode 89, Miss K and Smartest Monkey review Tron Legacy. They love it! Wait….they didn’t like it….wait, they liked it…kinda. You’ll just have to listen and decide for yourself.

Episode 88 is about Tron – the first one. There are no Tron Legacy spoilers because….well, because Miss K hasn’t seen it yet and also because she believes in not spoiling things as much as she can help it.

In fact, there are probably no spoilers in this even for the original Tron. How weird is that? Joined by SmartestMonkey for his insights into 80s computer stuff, Miss K tackles this classic.
