With more than a billion people from around the using TikTok to express their creativity, culture and self-expression, it only makes sense that the pressure has been put on the brans to make the platform as safe as possible.
In response to this, the social giant are doubling down on brand safety with a brand new Inventory Filter.
This new filter, which is built into the ad set-up process in TikTok Ads Manager, uses machine learning to detect variable concerns within user-uploaded content. This will offer users a more automated censoring process for guideline violations and an improved filter.
The inventory filter gives advertisers access to three tiers of video inventory; full, standard and limited.
With improved filtering and protection, advertisers now have more control over where their promotions appear in the app.

Is your target market of the younger generation? Then you might have to forget everything you've learnt about traditional marketing methods.
According to recent studies, Younger consumers are likely to be one of the hardest groups to market to and are more prone to skipping ads and using ad blockers.
But what might this mean for brands going forward?
Well, since there is a widening gap between how marketers and younger audiences perceive advertising, it means that they're having to invest in new ways to target Gen Z audiences.
According to a recent AdReaction study, Gen Z consumers demand more humorous commercials, enjoy co-creating with brands and want to watch videos that are less than 10 seconds long. To reach these users, brands would do best to use humour, rather than celebrities, in their advertising.

It's no secret that the world of eCommerce is huge. From the immense market size to the endless amount of plugins, choosing the ultimate solution for your online store will never be easy.
While there is no single platform that will fit the needs of every user perfectly, there are some eCommerce platforms that are great for growing eCom stores.
The two most commonly used platforms are WooCommerce and Magento. and while Magento has been a big player for a long time, it seems that more stores are joining WooCommerce than ever before.
WooCommerce is a user-friendly and low-cost eCommerce solution and is reported to have significantly less bugs than its long-running competitor.
Due to the higher prices, a problematic interface and number of bugs being found, many stores are migrating to WooCommerce and other eCommerce alternatives.

As artificial intelligence becomes more sophisticated, digital selling and marketing will have to adapt. One of the biggest digital industries that are due to be impacted by AI is search engine optimisation. The SEO industry is always in a state of flux. With Google constantly changing its algorithms, and new technologies showing up all the time. But, since the arrival of RankBrain, an AI system used by Google, the SEO community has been discussing the impact that AI will have on the industry. The use of AI within SEO helps to ensure less "black hat" SEO Techniques are being used as well as improved spam filters and overall improved UX. This is great news for users and dedicated SEO agencies but it means that brands will have to start investing in long-term best practices instead of quick SEO wins.

But when this feature does come into play, it will greatly affect the reach of some known accounts because the Sensitive Control for Instagram content can vary for everyone.
For those being affected, creating quality content will be more important and more effective than ever!
