Philadelphia General hospital opened in 1733 and it served a wide variety of people, and in particular people who suffered from mental illness or who didn’t have a lot of money. It was the first hospital of it’s kind and help make our city a leader in medicine.

ENIAC is the first computer in history and it was made at the University of Pennsylvania. It was created to help win World War II. It continues to shape our world today.

UPenn, which stands for the University of Pennsylvania, is a large university (college) in Philadelphia. It was founded by Benjamin Franklin. Today, it has lots of students, faculty, and staff that are connected.

Philadanco is an African-American dance school created by Joan Myers Brown who was a dancer herself since the age of six years old. Philadanco has been open since 1970. In Philadanco you will do jazz and ballet. Philadanco is located at 9 N Preston street.

The VA Medical center is a hospital specifically for veterans. They are only for veterans and it's all completely free they even a mural to show appreciation.
