When Alan Belcher entered the scene of MMA he found fame quickly as he entered the UFC. Belcher is known for his aggressive and exciting fights, always looking for a finish. Though he’s a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blackbelt, he always seems to prefer a good brawl and for that, the fans have always loved him. After 15 fights in the UFC and several “OF The Night” bonuses, fans were very surprised when Belcher decided to hang up the gloves and announce his retirement in his prime at the age of 29.

Alan Belcher took an 8 year hiatus from combat sports before announcing his return to boxing and shortly after, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Of course we asked about his life during his time away from the ring and I’m glad we did. In this episode Belcher shares his thoughts and advice on maturity and ego he learned through his fast rising career. He shares with us his new found love of mental training and how it really helped him find his passion for fighting again.

This is not your typical fight podcast, we went even deeper and it’s very interesting to hear about mindset, burnout, ego and meditation from such a seasoned professional. Often times these topics are never covered in typical interviews and we were excited Alan was so willing to share the wisdom he’s learned over the years. He said “If my story can help even just one person, It’s worth it”

Now that Alan Belcher has returned, he again quickly flew through the rankings of Bare Knuckle Boxing and he’s in camp for the BKFC Heavyweight Title and that goes down February 24th, 2023 in New Orleans. Make sure to tune in!

We have a lot of shifting in the fight world and today we get down to talking about Francis Ngannou relinquishing the UFC Heavyweight Title to move on the free agency and test the waters. Chris Camozzi and Chris Miller share their thoughts and info to the deal and their opinions of where the Undisputed Heavyweight Champ goes next! Ngannou is the first UFC Champ ever to not come to terms with the UFC and walk away on top, did he do it for the money or was it to take a bigger stand in MMA towards raising fighter pay, unionizing and propelling MMA to the big leagues of professional sports?

With the exit of Ngannou, we now have Jon Jones vs Cyril Game for the vacant title. We all know Jon Jones has had his issues in and out of the cage but he is still considered one of the best to ever step in the cage. Has he conquered his demons or is he still a giant liability for the UFC? Should Jones be allowed to come back from a 2 year hiatus, in a new weight class and skip the line and get an immediate title shot?

On the episode of Involuntary Yoga, you better buckle up because it's one of the wildest stories you will ever hear! UFC Middleweight Ian Heinisch joins us in studio to share his life story.

Ian battled with drug and alcohol addiction early on in his life and it spiraled even further out of control. He shares his story of being on the run from the US justice system and fleeing to Canada, where he had run ins with the law and immigration. He ends up in Europe where he gets into drug trafficking around the world and ultimately ends up in a foreign prison doing hard time.

His story is truly inspirational for the fact that he was down and out, addicted and a felon but he was able to turn his life around, get clean and find his passion in MMA and make it into the UFC. He shares how finding his faith in God saved his life and got him on the right path. Now he's working his way to becoming UFC Champion and working to help others like him!

This podcast takes so many wild twists and turns, it's hard to even summarize. We have a feeling we will be seeing this story portrayed on the big screen someday.

Today (Professional Fighter) Chris Camozzi and (Fit Soda CEO) Chris Miller sat down with McDojoLife creator Rob Ingram and this podcast takes some wild turns.

If you aren’t familiar with McDojoLife (596k fans), it’s a YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and even subreddit page dedicated to exposing fakes, phonies, downright dangerous, and even DEADLY practices in the martial arts world. Rob the owner has over 25 years of experience in various forms of martial arts and he has been helping expose a lot of these horrible practices for over 10 years now.

Before the podcast, we thought the McDojoLife page was meant for comic relief because there truly are some unbelievable training methods and practices people use and swear by! After talking with Rob, his page is so much more than comedy, it’s helped save lives and expose some very very bad people and we dig in on some of the worst things he’s ever seen as well as some dangerous backlash situations he’s encountered with people he’s exposed. Let’s just say Rob carries a kevlar plate in his daily backpack (he shows us) because of some of the stories he shares with us.
