They Never Stopped

Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me; nor do I
count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race
with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord
Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

No chain, no tribulation, no attack, no jew, no
greek would keep Paul from finishing his race
WITH Joy!!

We cannot allow anything to distract us, hinder us,
or stop us from fulfilling the call of God upon our
lives.

Some people quit serving the Lord because
something didn’t turn out their way...they get
bitter and angry, they hold onto offense and they
will ultimately fail to finish their race.

Acts 28:28 “Let it be known to you that the salvation of
God has been sent to the Gentiles and they will hear it!”

The gospel will be preached!
People will hear it!
Some will accept it, some will not
It will change some, some will doubt it’s power

1 Cor 9:24-27 Do you not know that those who run in a
race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a
way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who
competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now
they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an
imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with
uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest,
when I have preached to others, I myself should
become disqualified.

Heb 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded
by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every
weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let
us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,
who for the joy that was set before Him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the
right hand of the throne of God.

2 Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished
the race, I have kept the faith.

God is eternal, we are created in His image, we are
eternal, our assignment is eternal. We must never stop
doing what the Lord has created us to do. No trouble,
no persecution, no bad break, no tough luck, no attack
of the enemy, we can let nothing come between us
fulfilling the call of God upon our lives and the eternity
we are destined to influence.
