Our kids SEE our ACTION - this is what hit me yesterday.

It’s not what HE hears me say.

It is what he SEES me DO!

FREEDOM comes from caring ONLY about the APPROVAL of God.

Living an intentional life built on TRUTH of what God says and cares about brings you true JOY and FREEDOM.

When we start caring more of others opinions rather than Gods -we start living OUT of Gods true desire for our life.

His way is BEST.

He KNOWS what’s BEST for us.

He is the AUTHOR of your life, NOT anyone else!

We can’t JUDGE correctly without knowing the WHOLE story!

Yesterday I had a funny thing happen to me with throwing a biodegradable tissue into the forest.

This guy judged me without KNOWING the FULL story.

We do this.

I DO this.

We assume. Judge. Pass our thoughts onto something we think is TRUE.

God reminded me this morning -

His job is to judge.

Our job is to LOVE.

Let HIM be God.

He knows the FULL details of every persons life and story.

We do NOT.

WALK in LOVE.

That’s it.

We can speak to a mountain in FAITH, but if we do NOT LOVE others we gain NOTHING!

These verses hit me this morning.

Without LOVE we are and gain NOTHING.

God will ask us when we get to Heaven -

“How WELL did you LOVE my kids?!”

1 Corinthians 14:1

Let LOVE be your HIGHEST GOAL!

I was convicted this morning.

- I am needing to RESET my LOVE towards myself, God and to others. I cannot LOVE without GODS LOVE.

GOD IS LOVE.

We will LOSE the LOVE factor without God.

Today, I placed my heart right back into HIS perfect LOVE so I can begin to LOVE myself and others the way HE does.

The WAY we worship God STARTS with our BODIES.

HOW we honor God is by honoring where he DWELLS!

If you’ve asked God to reign your life and have a personal relationship with him - he LIVES IN YOU!

Do you LOOK like it?

Do you ACT like it?

Do you SPEAK like it?

Do you LIVE like it?

Or…do you COPY that behavior and customs of the world?

Today, I pray this message directs your heart to get REAL with God and allow him to point, correct and convict you in areas that he desires to be MORE like Him.

David desires and WANTED to build a temple for God. This is a GOOD and noble thought.

But…

God

God said, NO.

God told David he’s not to build it, but his son Solomon will.

God gave the DETAILS of HOW to build it to David, but Solomon was the one to build it.

Do you take your wants, dreams and desires and GIVEN them to God?

Asking IF this is HIS purpose and plans for you?

If God is truly KING of your heart.

He REIGNS over ALL your plans, wants and desires because ultimately HE KNOWS BEST!

A peace and freedom will come when we REST everything over to Him, knowing He has our BEST at heart.

Teach us to NUMBER our days, so that WE may GROW in wisdom.

When we understand this life is BRIEF in comparison to

ETERNITY after we are gone from this earth - it shifts your perspective on things that ACTUALLY matter.

Where and HOW you spend eternity is dependent on WHAT you do here on earth.

I share about my hubs classmate that was killed yesterday by a driver while riding his bike!

It hit us all because we had just seen him in June at my hubs reunion.

This morning I sat in my time with God on really seeking his heart on what matters. What truly matters to HIM I want to REALLY matter to me.

People.

Living a life in service to others.

Living a life where your legacy of LOVE outlives YOU!

Let’s live a life ALL IN EVERYDAY!

Life is a GIFT.

BE PRESENT FOR IT!

We don’t need to be afraid of the worlds crazy - we need to be on GUARD!

Today I felt heavy on my heart this -

We do NOT need to be afraid of the EVIL in this world when GOD is our refuge and strength.

Where we get scared is when we LOST our SHIELD of GODS protection by NOT staying ROOTED in Him.

I encourage you today if you’ve dropped your guard. -

Pick up your shield in FAITH.

STAND FIRM.

BE ON GUARD.

This chapter is a prophetic word about Jesus coming and WHAT God does through him.

This SAME power given to Jesus - is now FREELY available to US!

I share a story about an experience I had here in West Vancouver the other day with a local farmer. He asked me. “How was your Jesus time this morning?”

I had no idea how he KNEW I had Jesus time - this beautiful conversation took place because he SAW Jesus ON ME!

His spirit RESTS on US.

THATS a promise from your Heavenly Father.

His SPIRIT will bring you rest and REST ON YOU.

Do others around you SEE Jesus spirit in and ON YOU?

To be a change-maker we must be a CHANGED heart for God.

I encourage you today to SIT with God and FALL INTO his unfailing REST.

God used my youngest son to show me how DAILY trusting in God for EVERY step of our lives is what he asks.

He is LIGHT to our feet and path in life.

The question is will we trust & obey.

I share a story of our epic hike yesterday and coming down the mountain in the dark!

I had to FULLY rely on my son and his light for my steps…
