Our guest, Erik Kleinsmith, was Pete A Turner's commander during their deployment to Bosnia while they served in the 165th MI Bn. Pete and Erik go #spyvsspy as they discuss muddy boots collection & how one leads a bunch of spies who run around the battlefield. Also, Erik worked with Thomas Colbert's team that uncovered DB Cooper-we covered that in an episode during operators week. Dr. Mark Glickman and his co-authors developed an AI program that determines the authorship of Lennon and McCartney songs. Big deal, we believe we know much of this info already, right? Do we? There's conflict on a number of songs and parts of songs from the artists. Glickman's robot works to determine who wrote which part, and even in a collaboration, it means the contribution of the artists...pretty cool. Pete A Turner is joined by Dr. Chris Endrinal, who's PHD focused on examining the music of U2.

McKay has served our country with a long and illustrious career in foreign policy and is now an adjunct professor of history at Cal State Univ, Sacramento.

Thomas J Colbert assembled a team of investigators, including an 85 yo Private Eye and our co-host Erik Kleinsmith to break down one of the most famous cold cases in US history. The DB Cooper case has confounded police for nearly 50 years. Reportedly drowned as he parachuted out of his hijacked plane, nobody was satisfied by the explanation given by the FBI. DB Cooper was really Robert Rackstraw and he worked for the CIA. BTW, Erik Kleinsmith was also Pete's Commander while at the mighty 165th in 1996.
