Yes Money as a tool for a better future - Benjamin Poulter
So today I was told that I’m obsessed with money?
This got me thinking – Am I?
Obsessed with pieces of paper with a print or numbers in an account?
Do I hordes all the money I ever earn and try my best not to give it away?
I know that when I look to buy something like a motobike, I look into the value, what I can buy it for and weather I will lose money if I ever came to sell it.
I do the same with cars and all big purchases.
Well not everything – A washing machine is just a washing machine.
I suppose I’m careful with money and don’t want to waste it, I have done that in the past.
I bought a car and spent money on wheels, radio systems and stupid fancy lights – only to sell it a year later for less than a quarter of what I paid!
That was a tough pill to swallow.
So that’s maybe where it all began – I don’t like wasting money.
I want to be able to get the most out of it. I don’t hide it under the bed in a brisket tin.
But I do make sure I pay off my credit card each month – so I don’t get charged the interest.
I think I see money as a tool.
I want a big house with a huge garden and big kitchen – and I also don’t want a Morguage.
I know in order to achieve this goal I need money, because that is what will buy this house.
Then I also knew that whiles working as an electrician for 20 years had proven to me that I was not going to be in that house Morguage free in doing that.
This is why I ventured into the world of internet marketing.
It was not the money side of it all; it was the potential that it has.
Affiliate marketing can give me and my family a better life style then me working as an electrician can.
Theres nothing wrong with being an electrician – it’s a good job.
But if you think back to when you were looking for a career in school
Hair dresser 20k per year
How do they know that? Because its been the same for years – that’s how much you get paid in that profession.
You cant even find on the internet the average wage of an internet marketer – Because they are all so different.
I know a person who charges 10k for a 60minuite phone call – this is real life!
They are also booked up until Christmas.
I used to spend hours on the phone explaining how to wire a light – for free!!!
So the conclusion is that I dont want people to think I am obsessed with money.
I am obsessed with what it can do for me and my family – I only talk about it all the time because I want other people to realise too.
Earn the money in your life yeah for sure – but use it as a tool to make your life better!
I have a sister who works in a school, has been given extra work to do. So when the school day is over she is still working to 10pm!
Tired stressed and moody! She asked me why am I so positive all the time, I said there is no point being negative – it get you down.
Then I bought her a Tony Robbins book, She hasn’t had time to read it! I offered her £1000 to read it – she has 10 x that in a saving account!
Some people you can only advise them the way to go – if they choose a different route it down to them!
No I have to go – I am teaching my eldest daughter to drive.
Only because buying an old car and letting her learn herself was cheaper then 100 lessons
