Many people see business is a number of different ways all over the world.

To one person can mean a business man in a suit walking down wall street with a top had and an umbrella, with a briefcase  in the other hand.

However to someone who see things more simple it can be a 5 year old girl selling lemonade outside her house on a sunny day.

Myself I began to learn a lot about business from reading. I do not have a business degree. I find the more I read the more I learn.

Why in society if we have a large amount of money in our hands do we feel the need to hide it? Through fear another person will take it.

If your a cooking company then provide amazing recipes for people to try. Not only will that customer be impressed with the value they get from the recipe, they will return for more.

Its human nature for when you get something for free we look to give something back. It could be sharing that content they got for free or an actual purchase of a product.

The more value a customer get from you brand the more likely they are to come back.

Sometimes it is led to believe that you need to optimise your content and business online for SEO (search engine optimisation)

However this is not the most important factor. The end goal for any business is the customer. If you don’t have customers interested in buying you product then you don’t have business.

So whats the point of being at the top of google?

The content which you create online has to be amazing to your target audience. It has to be something thats going to make you stand out from the rest.

It doesn’t matter what are you are, A habit can develop in anyone.

In 2021 many people are turning to online. Why not! I also believe its the way forward in the world and the modern way to earn a living.

BUT! Don’t fall for the oldest trick in the book! Avoid it at all costs.

The thing is I can complacently see how it can happen, I have fallen for the same tricks twice.

When building an online business, one of the best ways to acquire customers is through emails. You can knock on their doors or call them on the phone.

You need to find them first and then show that customer what you have to offer.

Make a plan of action, take note of what you are told by someone you trust!

I found a guy who I feel I can trust, every thing he has promised has happened and more.

This is not a social experiment nor is it a story made up to prove a point.

Everything written here is FACT and has happened; you can say it’s a true story without an ending.

This is a story of 2 people who was born in Cambridge in the UK. Born from the same parents and lived in the same address for many years.

The up bringing was the same, they had 2 older sisters who were also bought up exactly the same.

The first boy born on May the 17th 1981 was very independent from a young age and whenever he had a problem he would find a solution himself.

For example – his bike got a puncture so he would take it apart, without knowing what he was doing in order to get it fixed to get out and ride the bike again.

As that boy went through high school he wasn’t the best behaved but always learnt his lesson when he had don’t wrong.

Not to push it so far that his problems couldn’t he fixed with another solution.

After leaving school he got an apprentice as a veichle mechanic, as he wanted to do. He was always playing with bikes, motobikes and cars so it seemed the right path to follow.

Well he did 1 year at that job and quit, he looked at the qualified mechanics and realised that he didn’t want to be in the same position in 20 years time.

The opportunity can up to be an electricians mate, which was basically being a labourer for a qualified electrician.

This job also gave him opportunities to travel, not just around the country but all over the world.

But still he wanted more, so started his very own electrical contractors business, the business grew and was a very successful company.

Again he wasn’t happy with the path he was taking so quit after 20 years of running a electrical business.

Now there were some hiccups along the way, but they were overcome and to go into detail of them now would be a whole book .

So ………..

The other person born on October 5th 1982, so not much of an age gap but still younger.

This boy went through high school getting into trouble all the time, so much so he was expelled and was put into a school with other students who had been expelled.

After leaving high school with qualifications but again nothing fantastic.

After a number of arrests and involvements with the police he followed the first persons path to become an electrician with the same company.

Again he was able to travel around the world and experience different cultures of many countries.

But one mistake which he could turn back from one day ended him up in prison.

It took a coupe stays in prison to make him realise that he life was going nowhere.

He began working for different companies and even tried to set up his own business which didn’t really take off.

To this day, at the age of 37 he asks to barrow money to be able to afford food to survive.

Now the relevance of this whole story is that both people had the same opportunities from birth.

It was all down the choices that they both made in order to get somewhere in life.

If you don’t work on your mind set from the beginning then it can take you down some wrong paths and take you to places you don’t really want to be.

The great thing is that the mind can be changed, just like a dog can be trained to smell drugs, the human mind can he educated to think differently.

You just need to be open mined  to let it happen.

How do I know this is true and not a story just put together for a article – because the first person is me. The second is my little brother James.

We were all new at some point, what do you do? What do you say?

So what is shiny object syndrome?

SOS, which is conveniently, shorten to is -  a cry for help!

We come across shiny objects because our brain is looking for a solution.

A solution to a problem that we already probably know the answer to.

It’s an impulsive purchase controlled by our emotions that’s makes us think that we are going to be able to progress in our business with a new product.

We click on the hook as we see the product exciting, new, and think if we spend more money or try something new it will help us get away from the problem we have in our business at that time.

It’s just a decoy that pulls you in to get you away from the problem you are struggling with at that current time in your business.

However, because it is new and exciting we think this is what we need – similar to the previous product we bought and are struggling with.

The new product, software or book helps us forget the current struggles we are dealing with.

So you go ahead and get sucked into to the shiny new product, you’re all excited to start and to get going with it – Until eventually you come up with the same problem you had before!

So back to your NEWS feed to start the cycle all over again.
