Wyndham Clark won a shootout at TPC Craig Ranch to win the 2026 CJ Cup championship. For the second straight year, the tournament winner got to -30, even after architect Lanny Wadkins guaranteed that his renovation would prevent that.

We will talk all about the course be incredibly easy, to the resurgent play of Clark, who had been struggling the last few seasons on tour. We will also get into the play of Scottie Scheffler, Blades Brown, Jordan Spieth and others.

This week, the PGA of America apparently learned nothing and named Keegan Bradley assistant captain for the 2027 Ryder Cup. Why do we keep going with the same captains and assistant captains over and over again? We will try to make sense of this and the Furyk pick for captain.

The thick rough and tough green complexes of Aronimink Golf Club gave the best in the world a lot of fits at the PGA Championship this week, but Englishman Aaron Rai pulled away on the back nine for his first major victory.

Rai has a great back story and his unparalleled work ethic has now made him a major champion. We will talk a lot about Rai's performance on this episode, as well as discussing multiple players who played well and were disappointments.

Cordie Walker aka Cordie Golfwell, joined the Break80 Podcast to talk about all the things he has been doing in the golf space with regards to improving at the game.
