Justin Rose blew the doors off the rest of the field this week at Torrey Pines to win his 13th PGA Tour title of his career. Rose started the week hot posting a -10 (62) on the North Course and kept the good play going en route to a record breaking performance in the event with a winning score of -23. We will discuss his play along with others who played well, including the return of Brooks Koepka, who hit it pretty well, but putted horribly in southern California.
It was a wild 3-man playoff on the DP World Tour which included Patrick Reed and Nelly Korda wins a shortened LPGA Tour event in Florida. All this and a wild underwear story on this weeks episode of the Break80 Podcast.

The Break80 Podcast made its way to Florida for the 2026 PGA Show in Orlando. It was our first time at the PGA Show and we were both floored and overwhelmed with this golf industry insiders event.
Around 1 million square feet of golf industry stuff was there. From clothes and apparel to clubs and technology, we will talk about all that we saw and did at our first ever PGA Show.
While in Florida we went and played Cabot Citrus Farms and Streamsong. Both courses and properties were amazing and we will break down everything we thought about them, including some wild nature out at Streamsong.
Last but not least, it was another win for Scottie Scheffler, which is becoming the norm for the world number one player. We will give our reactions to his win and the event, which included an impressive showing for 18-year old, Blades Brown.

The PGA Tour kicked off the 2026 season in Hawaii at the Sony Open. Chris Gotterup took home the title and moved to number 17 in the OWGR. We discuss the event and our thoughts on the golf course and Chris Gotterup.
Nacho Elvira won on the DP World Tour this week after a collapse by Shane Lowry on the final hole. Rory McIlroy could not capitalize on a great opening round, and finished two shots back of Elvira.
All this professional golf and the Good Good guys go to California. The podcast guys are off to Florida this week for the PGA Show and to play Cabot Citrus Farms and Streamsong.

It was a wild Monday on the PGA Tour as CEO Brian Rolapp announced a new plan for certain players to be reinstated to the PGA Tour - one of those players will be Brooks Koepka. Koepka will make his PGA Tour return in a few weeks at Torrey Pines.
Anthony Kim played some clutch golf this week to finish third and qualify for a full season on LIV Golf in 2026. Kim made some birdies and clutch pars down the stretch to secure his spot.

Scottie Scheffler won his fourth straight PGA Tour Player of the Year Award, becoming just the 3rd player to do that, joining Tiger Woods and Tom Watson. We will discuss his year vs. Rory McIlroy's year.
Andrew Novak and Lauren Coughlin won the Grant Thornton mixed team event this week in Florida. For Novak it was his 2nd team win of the year. Coughlin took home the largest paycheck of her career in their record breaking win at -28.

The final week of meaningful golf for 2025 has came and went with the Australian Open at Royal Melbourne, Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas and the DP World Tour in South Africa. We will review the three events and give our thoughts on each of them.
It is simulator season for those of us in cold climates and we are going to discuss the good and bad of simulator golf and whether it has become a necessity in the winter.
Brooks Koepka made the news this week with talk of him not playing LIV Golf. Where this will go is anyones guess, but we will discuss some possibilities for Koepka.
