Nick and Lars are joined by Emily Carmichael, filmmaker and purveyor of kidcandrive.com, to luxuriate in an episode of the classic (?) 80's kids' series Rainbow Brite.  In this episode, Rainbow Brite and all of her colorful friends contend with a visiting alien who is able to drain joy and color from the worlds both inside and outside of the TV screen.

Nick and Lars go on a journey through space and history with Tom O'Donnell, author of the new book Space Rocks!, when they crack open the first episode of Ulysses 31, a French-Japanese cartoon that could perhaps be the most depressing retelling of a Greek myth ever magnetized onto a video tape.  Take a deep dive into the blackness of both space and your own soul - also featuring a bowl of Quaker brand Honey Graham Oh's!

Nick and Lars spend some time with actor, photographer, and kitsch historian Kyle Supley to take a look at an episode of a well-loved kids' series: "Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre."  Each episode of the series featured a star-studded and unsettlingly psychosexual retelling of a classic fairy tale or fable - this time, it's a look at director Roger Vadim's interpretation of "Beauty and the Beast," starring a dewy-eyed Susan Sarandon and well-lubricated Klaus Kinski.

Nick and Lars sit down with actor, director, and friend Geordie Broadwater to watch an episode of the not-particularly-cherished cartoon series "Lazer Tag Academy."  It's an action-packed sci-fi adventure cartoon about a professional lazer tag champion from the distant future who fights a villain from the less-distant future with the aid of her three useless ancestors from 1987.
