Far from home and facing overwhelming uncertainty, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) became their lifeline. It provided a safe place to stay together, practical support, and the emotional reassurance they desperately needed.

Bronnie shares the moment everything changed, how quickly they had to move, and the comfort and trust RMHC offered in those first critical days. She also reflects on the small acts of kindness — the meals, the people, the community — that helped carry them through.
