The Prime Minister jets to Vanuatu today, where a landmark agreement with the Pacific nation hangs in the balance. It follows Canberra last week signing a major deal with Nauru. 

Anthony Albanese will then head to the Pacific Islands Forum in Honiara, where climate change and the role of China in the region are high on the agenda.

And France is facing fresh political turmoil - its government has collapsed after its Prime Minister lost a no confidence motion, leaving President Emmanuel Macron on the hunt for a fifth PM in less than two years.
