The Albanese Government's decision to extend the life of the North West Shelf Gas Project another 45 years to 2070 has been lambasted by climate advocates, Indigenous leaders, and scientists.

A partial recount in Goldstein kicked off yesterday to determine whether the provisional Liberal member Tim Wilson— who's declared victory over Independent Zoe Daniel —  is indeed the winner.
