The man who hoped to be Canada's next Conservative Prime Minister has lost his seat and the Liberals have won government, reversing their political fortunes. 

The election campaign was dominated by Canada's deteriorating relationship with the United States under the Trump administration, which made repeated threats to the country's sovereignty.

Meanwhile, from tariffs and trade wars, to an oval office clash with the Ukrainian President, it's safe to say Donald Trump's second presidency has been eventful.

Having promised the most extraordinary first 100 days of any presidency in American history, Mr Trump is marking the milestone with a week-long celebration with the main focus centred on his border crackdown.

And an Anglicare report found there aren't any affordable properties for people on Jobseeker, Youth Allowance or the Disability Support Pension. 

While there has been an increase in private rental listings in WA, affordability has gone backwards.
