US President Donald Trump has announced a 10-per cent tariff on all Australian imports into the country as part of his plan dubbed "Liberation Day".

He's also called out Australia for banning American beef imports, while the U-S imported more than $4.5 billion of Australian beef last year. 

Anthony Albanese has ruled out retaliatory tariffs being put in place... but one option open to the Government is launching an appeal to the World Trade Organisation.
