UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is visiting the White House to try to convince US President Donald Trump that a lasting peace in Ukraine will endure only if Kyiv and European leaders are at the table as negotiations move forward with Moscow.

Ahead of his meeting, the Prime Minister said there was quote "no more important relationship" for his country than that with the United States.

Also, Australia's Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations says he isn't concerned that US President Donald Trump didn't appear to know what the Australia – United Kingdom – United States Partnership (AUKUS) was when Mr Trump was asked about it during today's meeting.
