They did it!  The 19yr drought without a series win is OVER! How we feelin’ LeafsNation….. The elation could be felt far and wide, and for many fans this was their first victory celebration in their lifetime! We say enjoy it to the fullest! 

As usual though the team did not make it easy on themselves and made us all wait with baited breath, taking game 6 to yet a 3rd overtime in the series, before new Dad, Captain JT, would seal the deal at 4:36 of OT. Watching the team burst into a combination of relief and epic joy was incredible, and seeing fans take to the streets, honking their car horns, brought back so many amazing memories. We are so grateful that we're going to get to make some new ones!

Its' time to put a bow on the first round, so we'll start with some Leaf Talk and recap the last 3 games of the series with the Lightning. We discuss how the team grew through the first round, as well as key adjustments, and moments. And for the first time on our show we are going to be able to look ahead toward the next round, something that feels surreal! In the LTL Playoff Highlight Reel we feature 3 of the Big Dogs that came through in the clutch. They stepped up in the most crucial moments and got the job done!

In the Third Period we look at the status of some of the remaining series, and talk about how round 2 is shaping up, and to wrap the show we are naming our first ever Stars and Breakout Stars of the Series. We hope we will be featuring several of these selections over a long playoff run!

With the second round set to begin, it all gets real again quickly. Thankfully getting the job done in 6 gets the Buds and LeafsNation a bit of time to rest and come back down to earth! The job is not done yet. We are in uncharted territory! We'll be following the next phase of the journey from the edge of our seats. Go Leafs Go!
