BREAKTHROUGH-Truth That Sets You Free

We are so excited to release the teaching that was shared at our conference, entitled Breakthrough the Hearing the Voice of God, this past November 2023! We will be releasing the teaching from each speaker every other week.

This special release episode includes teaching by Cynthia Huffmyer. She shares with our conference attendees how we as believers are able to hear the Voice of God, even if that is not currently our experience. In John 10:27, Jesus tells us that "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

2. Word of Wisdom

3. Gift of Prophecy

4. Gift of Faith

5. Gift of Healings

6. Gift of Miracles

7. Discerning of Spirits

8. Speaking in tongues

9. Interpreting tongues

These gifts can be controversial, misunderstood, and even abused. Listen as hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel discuss the Biblical basis for these gifts and explain them in detail.

At salvation the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within every believer. With the presence of the Holy Spirit, Christians can expect to be graced with supernatural gifts that empower them to live the life of a Christ Follower, overcome the enemy, and minister to the Body of Christ.

Ministry Gifts are described as "ministries or abilities that the Holy Spirit gives to Christians for the edification of the Church." (Lexham Bible Dictionary). These gifts are how we "ad-minister" God's love, grace, healing, and Truth to others.

In this episode, hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel discuss the gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12:28, which are those that are categorized as the "Ministry Gifts", or Charismatons. They are as follows: Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Miracles, Healings, Service, Leadership, Tongues.

Make sure to catch our previous two episodes about the Holy Spirit and the many gifts He bestows upon us! This episode is a continuation of the conversation begun in Episode 21.

Everyone wants to know what their purpose is. There are a plethora of questionnaires and quizzes available to help people hone in on their inner talents and gifts, thus guiding them to how they can find fulfillment in contributing to the greater good. However, like most of all the big questions in life, the answer is found in the God's Word. At salvation, The Lord has given each of us spiritual gifts through the indwelling Holy Spirit that are used to serve distinct, specific purposes within the Body of Christ, all of which function together as a whole.  It is important that we all discover what our spiritual gift(s) is/are so that we can  in the way we were created, minister to others, and find personal fulfillment, all of which glorifies God.

Spiritual gifts are found in various passages of scripture as lists, most of which are not identical, but have some overlap. These lists are found in Romans, chapter 12, 1 Corinthians 12-14, and Ephesians 4. These lists have been categorized according to their corresponding Greek translation for better understanding.

In this episode, hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel will be focusing on the Motivational Gifts or Gifts of Grace (Charismatons). The Motivational Gifts of the Holy Spirit are as follows:

1.Prophecy 2.Service 3.Teaching 4.Giving 5.Exhortation 6.Leadership 7.Mercy

These gifts are what motivates you or brings you joy as you serve others. Listen and discover yours!

The Bible tells us that when we come to faith in Jesus, part of our identity is as a "new creation" in Christ. Old mindsets, old viewpoints, old habits, old desires, old mistakes....are all washed away by our Savior as He renews us from the inside out according to His Word and by His Spirit.

Join hosts, Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel, in this touching episode, as they discuss how God transformed special guest Taylor Pampalone's life, once she surrendered everything to the Lord.

God tells us who we are. Identity isn't in question or in flux. As Christians, it has already been decided and knowing that identity brings freedom, fulfillment, and flourishing. In chapter 5 of the Book of Matthew, the Bible tells us that as Christ-followers, we ARE salt and light, seasoning interactions and dispelling darkness. In this episode, hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel, discuss how we are to preserve God's moral law in the world today and how we are not to allow our "saltiness" to be diluted, as well as our identity as co-laborers with Christ.

One of the core identities of the Follower of Christ, is "forgiven". Knowing we are forgiven allows us to live in freedom, rather than being bound by shame and regret. Tune in as hosts, Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel discuss the reality of being not only forgiven, but a chosen, royal priesthood sanctified unto God.

A continuation of our discussion on identity, co-hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel reiterate in this episode that who we are in Christ is not contingent upon external factors. Our identity rests solely in who God says we are. Being in God's Word, discipleship in a community of believers, and learning how to take thoughts captive are all key to solidifying our beliefs about ourselves in the realm of Truth.

Who does God say you are? Research shows that most Americans answer the question of "who they are" with what they "do", or what role they fulfill within their family, along with many other things. Few answer the question with what the Lord says about them. As Christians, it is imperative that we find our identity in Christ. In this episode, hosts Cynthia Huffmyer and Jenni Zabel discuss what the Bible tells us about ourselves, and how knowing who we are in Christ effects our behavior, and thus our lives.
