In this episode, I reflect on an unexpected forced pause caused by a New York snowstorm—and how it gently reminded me what truly matters. With nowhere to be, the day slowed down in the best way. I spent time cooking comfort food, making my first frittata, simmering lasagna soup, reading The Thursday Murder Club, decluttering small spaces in my home, and enjoying unstructured, meaningful time with my husband—including a quiet drive around our snowy neighborhood.
What began as an interruption became a reminder that life is fleeting, and that the smallest, simplest moments are often the most meaningful. This episode is an invitation to honor pauses, embrace presence, and remember that life is very short—so living gently and intentionally matters.
