Coach Vavra is a native of Marietta Georgia where he went to high school and played at Sprayberry High School. He went on to play college football at the United States Naval Academy Prep School before transferring and playing at Tennessee Tech as a linebacker. Coach Vavra coached at multiple places in the Atlanta metro before getting his first HFC job at his alma mater and has recently taken over the Etowah program.
