This is the Saturday we all had circled! SIX ranked vs ranked matchups. BYU and Utah start off Saturday with an early ‘Holy War’. Will it be the Utes or the Cougars who take control of the BIG 12? Arch Manning and Texas head to Columbia to take on Austin Simmons and the Missouri Tigers. Oregon could completely ruin Ohio State’s season by knocking off the Buckeyes in Columbus, Alabama heads to LSU in what is essentially a CFP elimination game for the Crimson Tide and Tigers. Will Stein and the 1st place Kentucky Wildcats are out to prove they are the real deal heading to Knoxville to take on Josh Heupel and the Tennessee Volunteers. In primetime it’s all about revenge as Notre Dame welcomes in the #1 ranked Miami Hurricanes to South Bend and Georgia visits Ole Miss in a rematch from the CFP last year.

Seven top 25 teams lost on Saturday ending an absolutely wild October. Lincoln Riley and USC got a huge win over Ryan Day and Ohio State giving the Buckeyes 2 losses before November. Miami survived a scare with a 3 point win over North Carolina. Georgia beat Florida for the 6th straight time and Texas Tech got a big win at home. Greg McElroy delivers his Top 10 takeaways from a CRAZY week 7 of the college football season! Ryan Day and Ohio State escaped Indiana by literally a foot for a huge win handing Curt Cignetti’s team their first loss of the season. BYU beat Notre Dame and took Marcus Freeman’s margin for error, Tennessee beat up Alabama handing the Crimson Tide back-to-back losses and Miami survived at home against Florida State. Georgia lost to Auburn at home, Texas and Arch Manning lost to Florida at home and Kentucky won again putting them in a tie for 1st place in the SEC.  There are three undefeated teams in the BIG 12 and ONE undefeated team between the SEC and BIG 10 - UCLA of course.
