Brewing with BIM

In this episode we chat with David Kortekaas of BIM Synergistics. David is a master at coordination working on behalf of owners and contractors. He approaches coordination with an approach that is both lean and collaborative. By using an integrative coordination process he ensures all stakeholders have up to date models and supporting information. In addition his approach limits the need for RFIs (Make sure you check out his miniseries on the death of RFIs).

In this week’s episode of Brewing with BIM we had the privilege of talking with John Niles from HITT Contracting. John has a great passion for construction technology as does HITT. HITT has amazing initiatives to explore new technology, materials, and processes. At HITT’s CO|LAB they are always exploring new technology and pushing the boundaries to refine processes and materials for sustainable and efficient construction.

In this episode of Brewing With BIM, we discuss utilizing this time at home to not only better your BIM but to better yourself. We also discuss advances in verification and other construction technology. This was an exciting podcast as BWB's first interview.
