Claire Fox is a British writer and politician. She is the director and founder of the Academy of Ideas, a think tank. She is also a former member of the Revolutionary Communist Party, and is now a registered supporter of the Brexit Party who won a seat for the party in the North West England constituency at the 2019 European Parliament election. In this episode, Claire defends her convictions about the vote to leave the European Union, and considers whether modern Western societies have lost a sense in which a person's moral failure should been understood through a process of redemption rather than retribution.
