As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad.

Today, we sit down with Brian Carney, to who Henna and Ian Pryor introduced me! Brian is the co-founder of RiversEdge Advisors, LLC.   Brian is also the host of the Happy Hour with an Entrepreneur podcast, where I was a guest a few weeks back. He is a great human being with a ton of positive energy! He is a huge Philly sports fan, and we enjoyed a few laughs at each other's sports teams! I loved our conversation and learned a ton from him!

Brian is a father of three healthy, active kids that keep him and his wife on their toes. He shares a great story about his grandfather and the lessons his parents taught him now that he is sharing those lessons with his children. One of the challenges he shared was the ability to put his phone down and find ways to connect personally with his children. He stressed that we as dads must be comfortable sharing our emotions and feelings with our kids.

Lastly, he reminds us that kids are always watching! As parents, we are responsible for the good and the bad reactions.
