Really thrilled to be joined once again by one of the most in demand drummers in Rock n Roll, Brian Tichy back again for Part 2!
We once again delve into Brian's amazing career, we kick off talking about Brian's time at the revered Berklee college of music in 1986 and how a drum clinic by a young (26 years old) Dave Weckl inspired him and still does to this day.
Brian's enthusiasm and love for music shines through more than any other person i have ever spoken too, he delights in telling us about how he felt learning his first few simple grooves on the drums and the excitement that this brought him.
We also talk about his current gig with the legendary Gene Simmons from Kiss! Kiss were the band that grabbed his attention as a young boy and how it felt when he got the call offering him in the gig.
I have loved speaking to Brian for both of these episodes, he speaks total sense and has almost a childlike joy for music, be it making it or listening to it, i dare you to listen to these converstions and not be inspired by them. what a wonderfuly guy. Thanks Brian.
