In the Scriptures we see that a "biblical family" is not the neat and tidy stereotypical 1950's nuclear family. God's vision of family is far messier, grittier, and more beautiful than that. In calling Abram, God was launching a new family that was deeper than flesh and blood. God chose to create a new-family to redeem the creation and Jesus is the head of that family.

This Sunday, we begin our journey towards Easter by focusing on the "Songs of Ascent." These were the songs the pilgrims would sing on the road to Jerusalem. This week we are looking at a Song of Unity from Psalm 133. In a world filled with division, strife and tension, the Gospel refreshes and brings life.
