Push to the Point of Failure (Poem by Maria Wingard)
When you Fail then still try
It causes others to cry.
Not for you... Sad but true
Introspection creates a mental hue.
Your grit
doesn’t fit
with their quit
Yet... still do it.
Your fierce Tenacity
May birth Jealousy.
Not for prices paid
but of success made.
Their quitter strip
Can’t be your guilt trip.
Push to the point of failure
for there in lies grandeur.
Success resides in one more try
Never give up till the day you die.
The splendor of the king
Resides inside your very being.
Limitless wisdom to be had and told
when you give Him your heart to mend and mold.
When you learn the purpose of your why
You have a Heavenly reason to try.
So try again for your King
He’s worth investing everything.
