Tracey has been endorsed by Law Enforcement, the Los Angeles County Democratic Party and the Los Angeles Times. She is making her final push to the voters on the show.My second guest is Author and Retired Homicide Detective Danny R Smith. Detective Smith has written several Hard-Boiled Detective Crime Dramas. He also wrote an Autobiography, Nothing Left to Prove, which we reviewed on Briefing with the Chief. Danny has switched gears and recently released a new book, 10-33 GO. It’s a fiction story set in the historical context of the 1980’ South Central Los Angeles. We will discuss his new book. Don’t miss it!

Her opponent is supported by area progressives who launched the failed, "Criminal Justice Reform" movement in Los Angeles County with disastrous results.The second guest will be Cece Woods, the Editor and Chief of The Current Report. Cece has deep roots in the City of Malibu which is facing unprecedented political conflict. Malibu is a beach City in Los Angeles County and is home to numerous affluent Hollywood Celebrities. But this town of approximately 10,000 residents, has some nasty political drama too. We will explore these political struggles with Cece.

With election day quickly approaching, I will be joined to two former members of the Law Enforcement family who are now running for political office. Both have been guests on Briefing with the Chief in the past. They will make their final pitch on the show, for voter’s support.
My first guest will be Sharon Ransom, a former Dispatcher the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and now a Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. She is running to be a Judge in Los Angeles County. My second guest will be Patrick Gipson. He is a retired Deputy Sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and is running for the 40th Assembly District for the State of California.

I will be joined by Dr. Alex Balekian. Alex is a Candidate for the 30 District of the House of Representatives. We will discuss his effort to replace Adam Schiff who has relinquished his House Seat in a bid to become California’s next US Senator. I will ask Alex about a variety of policy issues including; crime, the border and term limits for Federal Office holders. Following the discussion with Dr. Balekian, we will be joined by former Congressional candidate Joe Collins and former Assembly Candidate Burton Brink to discuss a variety of issue that are important to all voters. One of the most stressful jobs in society today is that of a Police Officer. Whether you work for a City, County or State Law Enforcement agency, the pressures of the job can lead to an addition to alcohol or other substances. My guest, retired Lieutenant Eric Castano of the Los Angeles County Sheriff and I will discuss the issues of alcohol abuse in the ranks of Law Enforcement. We will also discuss the creation and growth of the Peace Officer Fellowship of which Lt. Castano is a member.
This organization includes men and women in Law Enforcement coming together to support each other in recovery. Recovery is a life-long commitment and many members of this Fellowship retired and moved to other states. They have helped to create chapters around the Country.

Charitable Bail funds have existed for decades. Follow the death of George Floyd these funds received an infusion of cash, specifically to bond out demonstrators protesting Floyd’s death. Vice President Kamala Harris posted on X, encouraging donations to a charitable bond fund, the Minnesota Freedom Fund. The fund raised $41 Million Dollars. Little of this money was actually used to assist demonstrators. Ultimately the Minnesota Freedom Fund assisted in freeing arrestees who went on to commit murder and rapes.
I will be joined by Jeff Clayton of the American Bail Coalition. We will explore the history, intent and actions of Charitable Bail Funds. We will explore efforts to regulate Charitable Bail Funds. This is a critical issue for the current Presidential race as Kamala Harris has worked to minimize her support of the Minnesota Freedom Fund. 

On a previous episode of Briefing with the Chief, my guest Harris County Texas District Attorney Kim Ogg, advised my audience of a shadowy organization that is funded by Soros and enforces expectations of progressive prosecutors he financially supports.
This episode will address that organization, Fair and Just Prosecutions. I will discuss current and former District Attorneys listed on the organization’s website. The incompetent, unethical and at times illegal behaviors of these District Attorneys.

Earlier this summer President Donald Trump selected Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate in the ongoing race for President.  Vance, who grew up poor, from a broken home which included substance abuse and domestic violence, overcame a sense of hopelessness and despair to graduate from “The Ohio State University” and Yale Law School.  Immediately upon being selected as Trump’s Vice-Presidential running mate, he was attacked as weird.  His military service in a warzone, Iraq, was marginalized and held up for ridicule.  
J.D. Vance outlined his life’s experience in a book, Hillbilly Elegy, released 2016.  The book gives insight as to who J.D. Vance is and his experiences being poor and white in America.  Join me as I discuss the book and the inaccurate reporting that motivated me to read Vance’s book.  

The City of Oakland is located on the West coast of the State of California. It is the county seat and the most populated city in Alameda County, with a population of 440,000 in 2020. The voters in the City of Oakland and Alameda County have successfully qualified two recall petitions for the ballot on November 5, 2024. One petition is for Billionaire George Soros’ funded Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price and the second is for Oakland Mayor, Sheng Thao. The support for these recalls seems to be incredibly broad based.
I will be joined by former union organizer and Mayoral candidate Seneca Scott. We will discuss both recalls, who’s behind them and the likelihood of their success. 

In 2022 over 58 million Americans will be over the age of 65 and that 7 million will be under threat of Elder Abuse. It is widely understood that this crime is woefully underreported.I will be joined by Judicial Candidate, for Los Angeles County, Renee Rose. Renee is a veteran of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. She has experience in prosecuting hardcore gangs, narcotics dealers and arsonists. Currently, she is the Deputy-in-Charge of the Elder Abuse Unit. We will discuss her campaign for Judge and explore the growing crime of Elder Abuse.
