Judah E. Brown, PharmD, BCCCP, co-founder and advisory team member of the #PharmGradWishList interviews Christine Nguyen, PharmD, #PGWL sponsee and winner of a large item crowdfunding campaign to support a new laptop to begin her PGY1 pharmacy residency.

Dr. Nguyen grew up in northern California and has been interested in a career in pharmacy from a young age. As a child, Dr. Nguyen watched as her grandfather mastered traditional Chinese medicine, which incited her passion for pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice. Now, Dr. Nguyen is a first-generation college and pharmacy graduate, obtaining her PharmD degree from the University of the Pacific. Since graduation, Dr. Nguyen has begun her career and continued her education as a pharmacy resident with Palomar Health, with plans to ultimately begin practice in infectious diseases.

Dr. Nguyen is grateful for the generous outpouring of support from the pharmacy community who have and continue to help her achieve her goals and aspirations. She remains passionate about supporting opportunities, like those she has received, to continue diversifying pharmacy and healthcare.
