Inspired by the legendary "Cheesy Gold Foil" Wild Turkey from the 1980s and '90s, Bruce Russell set out to honor one of the most iconic pours in bourbon history. Aged 16 years, bottled at 120 proof, and carrying a $400+ MSRP, expectations couldn't be higher.

Behind the Buffalo Trace Barrel Pick | A Kentucky Bourbon Adventure

One of the highlights was stepping inside the historic Warehouse C, built in 1885 by Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. More than 140 years later, this iconic rickhouse continues to produce some of Buffalo Trace's most sought-after barrels. Standing among that history, surrounded by aging bourbon and generations of craftsmanship, is something words simply can't capture. You don't just see Warehouse C—you feel it.
