Bring On The Weird

What if the USS Eldridge and the Philadelphia Experiment were just distractions to what might actually be going on? We’ve taken our dim bulb to the dry docks in Philadelphia and Norfolk and sometimes that dim light shines on SCP-595 Teleporting Destroyer and sometimes it doesn’t, because it’s teleporting back and forth between the two dry docks on a constant cycle. If you get caught in the influence of the electromagnetic distortion bubble….you’re gonna have a bad day.

We didn’t take our dim bulb anywhere near SCP-201 The Empty World! Getting too close to this IV stand looking thing could result in a trip into an alternate world that the affected won’t return from for a few hours to eight years! The timelapse is different for the affected and those still in our world.

In this episode our dim bulbs attempt to light up the craziness surrounding the corona virus and then we take on the Philadelphia Experiment. Is it possible to make an entire ship invisible to not only radar but also the human eye? Is it possible to also teleport said ship to another place and then back again in minutes? What happens to the crew on board?! Grab a beer and find out along with the guys, Elijah and Will, as they bring on this weirdness.

In this case we’re really hoping our little dim light is dim enough to not draw the attention of SCP-160. SCP-160 Predator Drone is like some kind of futuristic cryptid. It’s mechanical, but it hunts and consumes living prey after it inserts it’s proboscis into its victims and turns their insides to some kind of delicious slurry to keep itself running!!!

If the color is right we’ll jump through SCP-120 Teleporting Paddling Pool to escape SCP-160. The color is very important for teleporting to the right location. If it’s black you’ll end up somewhere on the moon with the rest of the “test subjects”. If it’s white you better be wearing a jacket.

Our dim bulb was flickering that dim light in a weird pattern this week. We determined it was morse code for W.T.F!

Let’s say we have discovered a cataclysmic event that could destroy our solar system. The solution? Move the solar system.

In an attempt to save a life a good samaritan took aim with his crossbow at two pit bulls chasing someone, unfortunately the would be hero took a life instead.

The Penteli Cave in Greece was the home of the marble that helped build the Parthenon, however the cave also has quite the history and mystery.

British scientists have discovered a new type of T-cell that targets most human cancer cells. HUZZAH!!! Let the speculation begin on how soon these scientists will meet their untimely demise.

SCP-014 The Concrete Man might just be the pinnacle of “I think, therefore, I am”. He said he was turning into concrete and they called him crazy! Look who is still alive now...and refuses to metabolize, perspire, and listen to music beyond 1937.

If we thought hard enough could we then make the dim light coming from our dim bulb any brighter? We don’t think that hard.

But, if we placed our dim bulb in the “spherical temporal distortion field” that is generated by SCP-155 Infinite Speed Computer could we get that dim light any brighter given the interesting processing abilities of that computer? Not likely.

We took our dim bulb to hang out with Phil Schneider and being around him did not make that dim light any brighter. Then things got even weirder on that fateful day when Phil was lowered down into a hole to investigate why drills kept breaking in this spot. What he found would change lives forever!

So we hooked our dim bulb up to SCP-062 "Quantum" Computer. Luckily it fired up in Windows 95 English version. There was only one program called Dim Light and it had two options Dim & Dimmer.

After that we checked out SCP-015 Pipe Nightmare. We heard voices crying out in the many many miles of pipelines, but our dim light just couldn't penetrate the depths of pipes.

We decided to explore some Deep Underground Military Bases with our dim bulb, but we found out those bases are so deep and there are so many of them that the dim light barely penetrated the vastness of these places! There's so many of them in the U.S. alone! Oh and the things they do in these places....let's just say we're glad our dim bulb doesn't shine that brightly.

We are not taking our dim bulb anywhere near SCP-012 “A Bad Composition”! If we shine that dim light on that musical score we’ll be compelled to open an artery and use our blood to complete the overall musical piece.

We’re also keeping our dim light and any thoughts away from lighting up SCP-013 “Blue Lady Cigarettes”. They’ll cause the smoker to envision themselves as a lovely lady with dark hair and wearing blue lipstick.

We were worried that if we took our dim bulb down under to Victoria, Australia and that dim light flickered out completely we would incur a fine if we changed it ourselves. After further study we found it is perfectly legal to change your own lightbulb in Victoria, Australia. However you better not attempt to modify the weather in Colorado without a permit! We discuss these weird laws and soooo many others in this episode.

Thank you to our sponsor for this episode Best Fiends, the fun puzzle game that replaces all other puzzle games.
