Psalm 102 reminds us that prayer is not reserved only for moments of joy or when we have all the answers. The psalmist cries out, “Hear my prayer, O Lord… Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble.” It is the honest prayer of someone who feels overwhelmed and desperately needs God’s presence. There are seasons when we don’t know exactly what to ask for or even how to express what we’re feeling. In those moments, God still invites us to come to Him. We don’t have to wait until we’ve figured everything out before we pray. We can bring our confusion, fear, and burdens directly to the Lord, trusting that He hears us and cares for us. When life feels heavy and the next step is unclear, don’t withdraw from God—run to Him. He offers the mercy, grace, and strength we need for every difficult season.
