Is all pride wrong or is there some pride that we should have?

What did your church do when you became a follower of Jesus? Did they seek to make sure that you were doing the commands of Jesus or did they just baptize you, pat you on the back and hoped you would make it?

I asked my congregation to invite everyone they knew that needed hope. They asked, "Who doesn't need hope?" Indeed, in the days that face us, who doesn't need hope?

Followers of Jesus should be the most joyful people on earth. Yet, those outside the church see nothing but bored faces when they look at people who go to church. Why is that?

God brought gave salvation through His Son. He told people how it would happen. He employed many to bring Him into the world. Does He do that to bring us to salvation? Does He do that to bring us to a walk with Him?

Churches have become places where concerts are played while the congregation stands in the dark anonymous from each other. Is that what it was intended to be?

The things in this world knock down the follower of Christ and those who do not know Him. We, followers, are not immune. However, we are never alone and know that our future will be greater than imagination allows. This gives us hope. All this is found in the Bible.

Imagine would happen if we gave up all that we were in order to save some people.

Are you going to wait until you consider yourself a strong Christian before you do what a strong Christian does?

Major decisions do not come with a full plan. We get married without knowing all that will happen. We have children. We follow Christ. Each one fails to come with a complete plan. We must know what the next thing is.
