In this episode, "Hope and inheritance in scripture and reading it out loud", we reading Romans 15:13 and explore how we can apply it personally to ourselves. Reading scripture out loud is incredibly powerful and can change our thoughts, heart and atmosphere. There is hope and promise in the bible, and that hope is for our personal lives as well!

What are some of your favorite scriptures?

How have you experienced reading scripture out loud change things?

What God given inheritance have you seen come from scripture?

Prayer:

Jesus, Your word has a wealth of knowledge and promise for me. I believe Your words are true even when I can't see it. Even when nothing makes sense, I trust that Your word and promise to me will not fail. Lead me to the passages of scripture that You want me to continuously read out loud as a reminder that You are with me.

Jesus, You have earned the rightful first place in my life by Your death and resurrection on the cross. Thank you that you are always working on my behalf. Forgive me for trying to take things into my own hands and I surrender the things I have been holding on to so tightly to You.

Prayer:

Jesus, where I have put my faith in people and have desired to be carried by them, I ask for Your forgiveness. Thank you for the people You have given me in my life and I am choosing to recognize that it is Your job to carry me. It is You who has seen every ounce of my life and has loved me through it all. I don't want to put my hope in man, but my hope in You alone.

Will You help me to exchange my doubt and unworthiness for Your strength and trust that You chose the right person for the job. I am the right person for the job because You don't make mistakes.

Jesus, thank you for knitting me together in my mother's womb and moving people and places out of the way for me. Open my eyes to see the purpose that You have set before me, and give me the clarity and boldness to walk in Your desire for my life.
