FELINE FRIDAY This week we have adoptable Josh & Jasper from Pet Match Rescue!

Jasper (stripes) & Josh (white) are a young, male feline duo who have been waiting for a new home for a year! They came together from a home with multiple other cats, a dog, and multiple small kids, are littler box trained, neutered, and up to date on their vaccines. Josh is a laid back, easy going cat who's perfectly happy lounging and napping! Jasper is a spunky, playful cat who loves to explore and be the center of attention! Each has his own personality and something to offer to a new home!

They are independent so would be able to go to separate homes, or could stay together if the opportunity presents!

The 14th Annual 'Let Freedom Sing' Concertis going to go on as scheduled, but is going to go on a little different this year. Celebrating unity and diversity, the show will be going virtual this Martin Luther King holiday weekend! Saturday January 16th at 7pm, you can watch the LIVE STREAM from Pittsburgh's Hill District, with donations being accepted towards the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Jones joined the Y'd Awake Morning Show about how the event originated and how you can participate in the celebrations.

This is Elmo from Tiny Cause in Vandergrift. Elmo was a pup featured in our Fido Friday segment before Christmas, was adopted shortly after, but unfortunately wasn’t a good fit with the family & found his way back to TinyCause.

We want to do everything we can to find this sweet pup a home! Please share his story with your friends & help us to help him find him the right home!

Elmo is a three-year-old pittie mix with the biggest ears around! He came from a high-kill shelter in SC & hasn’t been able to find any love here in PA. He is fully vetted, up to date on all his vaccines, microchipped and is neutered. He prefers dogs over cats, but would require a meet and greet before hand. He has lots of energy & is looking for a family that doesn’t mind a little jumping (it’s a work in progress).

FIDO FRIDAY!  This week we have adorable, adoptable Skipper from Animal Protectors!

Skipper is a 2 year old pittie mix that came in a little shy, but he has really blossomed into an absolute love bug. He's going to be a couch potato, but still is up for some high-energy play.

We're still working on basic manners like walking nicely on leash, but he is treat motivated and has made a lot of progress. He enjoys playtime with other dogs, and may do well with children.
