FIDO FRIDAY! This week we have adorable, adoptable Snoopy from Steel City Dog Rescue!

Snoopy came to the rescue because of a hoarding situation; He had no care and had a lot of skin issues, which he has to get allergy shots for. He knows his basic commands like sit, stay, down and speak. He loves to think that he is a 5lb dog and cuddle like a lap dog while giving lots of kisses, but also loves to run & play tug of war.

The holidays are looking different this year, so Mon Valley Jeeps have teamed up with 412 Jeep Crew and Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority again this year to help out some local families in need! They will be holding their Toys For Tots stuff-a-bus in the Lowe's parking lot in Rostraver Township on Friday November 27th from 6p-10p and Saturday November 28th from 11a-7p. This handsome boy is a 3 year old boxer mix. Tank is extremely sweet and is never seen without his favorite ball in his mouth. We are looking for a lovely home that can foster-to-adopt him until he has undergone heartworm treatment. He will need a quiet, feline free place where he can be isolated from other dogs if necessary while being treated.

We love our veterans and we love our pets, so what could be better than putting those two together?

Pets for Vets is an organization that was started to help veterans find an animal companion, as well as help animals get adopted out of the shelters.

Animal Friends on Camp Horne Road is the only shelter in the Pittsburgh area that works with the Pets for Vets organization, training the animal to help veterans that are dealing with PTSD, anxiety or just needing a little extra love in their life that an animal can help with.

Meet Petey, a handsome, fun-loving and intelligent boxer-mix who is eager to find his new family. Petey is about six years old and enjoys going for walks in the woods, playing enrichment games and mastering his basic canine manners. But, his absolute favorite activity is playing catch!
