Pastor Ryan leads us through the small book of Titus, where the apostle Paul is instructing Titus on establishing the Church of Jesus on the island of Crete.

Paul exhorts Titus to instruct the Church in trusting in the knowledge of the Gospel Truth that led the to salvation. The "Truth that sets us free" was a striking contrast to the lies, half-truths, and manipulations that Crete was known for, a contrast alarmingly similar to the social and political climate of today. Titus tells us that we KNOW the real Truth, and this Truth IS trustworthy!

Pastor Symps leads us through a studied journey through this small but direct letter by the apostle John (John 3) - hereJohn addresses the conduct of the believer, those that practice the truth of the Gospel of our Savior Jesus. Pastor Symps shows us the comparison John provides between good (Gaius, Daetrius) and bad (Diotrephes) conduct for the Christ follower.

We spend our Independence Day praising and praying as a body to our Rock and Redeemer, our Lord Jesus who liberated us from the pangs of sin and death-Halleluia!

Pastors Symps, Ryan and resident missions pastor Matt Edwards lead the body in three sessions of prayer, providing exhortations that introduce us to the foci - prayers for the Church and government, prayers to exalt God and bless our Body of Christ, and prayers for us to, as Jesus, go into the world to spread the love of Christ and encourage the lost to repentance. For us, it was Dependence Day! Dependent on our Lord and Savior!

Pastor Symps kicks off our new sermon series with a detailed look at 2nd John. This short love letter to the "elect lady" (perhaps a representation of the Church) emphasizes our walk in truth and love, to walk according to Christ's commandments. Pastor Symps asks, "do you love the Truth that abides forever"?

We delve deeply into Chapters 21 and 22 of Revelation, to learn what is NOT the ending, but only just the beginning of our eternal hope and glory for the future, where the Lamb of God is always and ever to be praised, and where we, His Bride, have the profound privilege, joy and duty to reign with Him throughout the new Heaven and Earth, in the new glorified bodies created for us by the Father! Glory to the Lamb! Even now, the cardinal question continues to be asked: will you faithfully follow the Lamb, or frantically follow the dragon!? Decide NOW!

The end of Revelation is GOOD NEWS! But in order to arrive at His outcome, God must do a thorough work of purification throughout His creation. The descriptions of the last battle (ch. 19, 20) reveals Christ as the Righteous Judge, and Pastor Ryan reminds us of two outcomes resulting from our Savior's judgement:

1. The Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet's destiny is the lake of fire

2. People's destiny is either eternal life or the lake of fire.

Your destiny is based on your decision - follow the Lamb, or follow the dragon!

Comparing chapters 17 and 21 of Revelation, we see a considerable amount of visionary thought dedicated to two cites: Babylon and the New Jerusalem. The great Babylon, that great harlot, depends on the dragon to mimic God's city, but can only come up with temporal satisfaction, destined for destruction, for it and its citizens. The New Jerusalem is created by our God, forever holy, pure, the light of His bride the Church. Pastor Ryan pointedly asks: which city do you wish to be part of?

Chapter 12 of Revelation, the prequel-ed war in Heaven before time began, already demonstrates the loss and failure to come of our enemy, the dragon! Pastor Ryan shares with us how we, even today, can share in the present and inevitable Victory of the Lamb, through repentance, prayer, testimony and readiness. We should always be ready for His return! Even so, come now Lord Jesus!

We look at Chapters 8, 9 and 11 of Revelation, introducing the judgements of the seven trumpets. The Word marks, with absolute assurance, that God will and IS judging evil, that His goal to make the word right will come about, and that, through this judgement, there is opportunity for repentance. A question is posed: the 7th trumpet heralds the world becoming the Kingdom of our Christ: why is this a "woe"? Pastor Ryan aids in this telling illumination.

We compliment the flow of our series in Revelation to do just what the saints do as described in Revelation 8 - to offer to the throne of our God prayers and praise, offered up to the altar of our Lord, presented with incense, as demonstrated in His Word.
