Pastor Symps looks at several passages from Revelation that identifies four eternally-true attributes of our Jesus as Shepherd of us during times of tribulation. Actions as described in Revelation 6, 7, 12 and 14 poetry our Christ as the True Shepherd, the True Avenger, the True Protector and the True Voice to His flock.

How do we indeed hold fast faithfully to the Lamb when the world feverishly follows the dragon. Pastor Ryan paints a huge panoramic picture from Chapters 6, 12 and 13 that spans the history of Christ's (and ours) spiritual and epic war with the enemy. Through t all, the message is the same - Satan wants us to lose our grip on the everlasting Way of the Lamb - but our Christ will persevere... and be victorious!

Pastor Ryan gives us a panoramic view of the Heavenly scenes found in Revelation, Ch. 7. In this passage, we are challenged by our Lord with a sobering decision to make:

will you follow the "way of the Lamb" or the "terror of the dragon"? Once the decision id made to follow our Lamb of God, how do we faithfully follow the Lamb in a world feverishly following the dragon?

We are in Chapter 5 of Revelation, where God now addresses the title deed to Heaven and Earth. who indeed is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals? Pastor Ryan shows us how Chapter five reveals the wonderful, marvelous, and awesome Lamb of God, whose precious blood sacrificed for us and His conquering of death makes Him more than worthy to open the scroll for us. Indeed, holy, holy, holy is the One Who was, Who is, and Who is to come!

The Apostle John is treated to an open door to Heaven - "come up here!" says the Lord, and John (and us!) is treated to a vision where there is unending, uninterrupted, eternal praise and worship to the Lord God Almighty. As Pastor Ryan explains, it is a worship that we can join into at any time-it is indeed, unending!Thsi adoration of our God is happening now, even in the midst of our worldly sorrow and unrest - God indeed wants us to remember that He is still in control, and Lord of all things.

Pastor Ryan leads us through I Corinthians, Chapter 15, that great lecture on WHY we do have Resurrection! Because of this sublime, cardinal Truth, we can proclaim:

"We declare that God raised Jesus from the dead. So, we say...."

....and from this we can declare our belief in God, that God acts and moves in this world, that God defeated our great enemy, Death, and that, above all, we can be a people of hope! Hallelujah!

Pastor Symps explores the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, this from all four Gospels, and adds to it John 13. We see the Christ received as King, yet they did not know what Kingdom He preached; and yet this glorious king demonstrated servanthood by washing the disciples' feet!

Van we worship the true King and yet model His humility?

This, the last of the seven letters dictated by the Lord Jesus Himself, and He addresses, as Pastor Luke points out, the sin of self-sufficiency. Two sins in one: Gos is not as great as you are at providing for your needs, and you are better than God to meet them! Your idolatry is ...yourself! Not only are you poor at His ministry, but you even think you are doing great! No wonder our Lord "spews you out of His mouth"! Still, our Lord chooses to stand at the door of your heart and knock to come in, such amazing love! Rev. 3:14-22 is our text.

We take an Easter Season break from Revelation for the opportunity to corporately worship, appeal, give thanks, and praise the Lord our God, using Psalm 118 as our model to follow. Together, our body offers adoration and praise, learns to lament, male our requests, and remember God's faithfulness in His provision and protection - give our Lord and King all the honor and glory due His Name!

Deep promises from Jesus to a small but faithful church. Philadelphia modeled what every congregation should strive for: evangelistic opportunity, complete reliance on God, faithful to the Name of Jesus - not ONE harsh word to this congregation who kept the Word of God!

Jesus' promises are stellar - and a profound inspiration for us. Pastor Ryan exhorts us: make Christ your center!
