Pastor Kevin revisits last week's passage, Ephesians 4:7-16, emphasizing a fresh perspective on the uniqueness of each of our gifts, fitted together to be Christ's medium to a desperately needy world.

"Let your light shine" (the theme from the old Gospel/Civil Rights song) is our sermons anthem for today.

Pastor Kevin leads us in a study of Ephesians 4:1-16, which exhorts us to "walk in a manner worthy of our calling" until we "all reach Unity in the Faith" (v. 13).

Pastor Kevin focuses on 1) walking in unity, 20 serving in unity, and 3) growing in unity. As v. 16 instructs, "we take our lead from Christ, Who is the Source of everything we do."

Pastor Kevin guest preaches for us again, blessing us with a focused observation and exhortation of Eph. 3:1-13. Here Paul speaks to the church at Ephesus (and to us) of the great mystery of Christ, that Israel and Gentile are one - the Holy Spirit indwells all believers equally and in unity!

We discuss the messenger (we are servants to God), the message (our Gospel promise), and the mission (to be the realization of God's purpose in revealing this Mystery).

Our Pastor Symps speaks on the power of Christ's reconciliation, as exemplified in His miracle of taking such divergence in our deplorable conditions and bringing forth a unity in Him, making the Body of Christ one organism out of many peoples. To see Jew and Gentile so bonded together in His love is a much-needed witness of unity so dearly needed in today's world. Verses 2: 11-22 are the Scripture focus for today.

Pastor Kevin Duval "returns home" to guest preach today's installment in our Ephesians series, concentrating on verses 2:1-10.

Paul reminds us where we were before Christ, and our utter depravity and need for redemption weighing all of us down. "BUT GOD!....in verse 4 God shows us all the riches in Christ Jesus that are ours, thanks to His great mercy.

Pastor Kevin's message completely invokes the old adage "that was then...this is now."

Pastor Ryan continues us on our journey through Ephesians, emphasizing verses 1:15-23. God grants us, blesses us with the way to know His power, His power through Christ: to know His resurrection, His ascension, and His Lordship over the Church, and through the Holy Spirit to be able to live as this Body of Christ, THAT'S power!

Pastor Ryan begins in earnest, concentrating on Ephesians, chap. 1:3-14, a deep and rich and dense promise of our position, our blessings, our grace extended to us by God. Pastor Ryan concentrates on what this passage declares concerning our attitude towards circumstances, our past election, our present position, God's future plan and our calling.

We begin a new series on that most ecclesiastical of epistles, the Book of Ephesians. Pastor Ryan introduces us to the series, sharing the broad picture of the book's outlay, two major sections hyphened by a deep, earnest prayer for the Church in chap. 3:14-21. How are we strengthened, rooted, and filled in the Spirit? Paul shows us how!

Pastor Symps leads us through several sScripture passages that help to convey the Holy Spirit's plans and guidances for healthy small groups, emphasizing such needs as Christ consciousness, to live life together, to engage and to develop leaders, and to practice hospitality. Scripture passages include Col. 1:15-18, Acts 2:41-48 and Hebrews 13:2

We concentrate on Acts, chaps. 2 and 4 to explore the Gospel-centered community. There is power in the Christ-centered community, power for our personal growth and for being a witness to the world. Pastor Ryan uses Acts 2 and 4 to explain how the small group, like the new believers in Acts, can be a place for growth, for practicing Christly love, and a place for witness.
