Pastor Rick shares from Proverbs 25 and I Kings 3:7-14 concerning the story of Solomon (the author of much of Proverbs) who started well but did not finish well. Guard your heart, and do not take your eyes off Jesus!

"Be still, and know that I Am God" - this wisdom is challenged in our age of technical distraction. Proverbs 8 shares the Godly wisdom about slowing down, so that you can hear God the Father speak to you!

Pastor Ryan uses passages from Proverbs and James to explain what the author of Proverbs warned us about a most powerful derailer to our spiritual guidance - our own tongue!

Pastor Ryan takes a short recess from the Proverbs series for some needed Broadway healing, helping our Body to cope with the losses experienced this year, especially of late. II Cor. 1: 3- 5 is our focal Scripture passage.

We begin a new series today: the wisdom of God, "hokma" as taught by the delectable insights offered in Proverbs. Pastor Ryan prepares us by sharing how to read this book, know what the insights are foe, and ultimately to learn' the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom".

Pastor Rick uses Abraham's calling from the Lord in Genesis 15 to outline several dangerous assumptions we suffer when we underestimate God's capability and overestimate our shortcomings.

Our last capstone sermon on Colossians. Pastor Ryan finishes the series explored in detail Paul's farewell to the church of Colossae and the sweet spirit of community in forgiveness and mercy it is soaked in. We see, through Christ, our relationships redefined, our necessary conduct of patience and forgiveness. We see the role of Paul's last missions, and in all, Christ our Reconciler! Colossians 4:7-18

"Whatever you do, do in the Name of Jesus" In your homes, your neighborhoods, workplaces, to become, as the Apostle Paul shares to the Church, people of joy, prayer and mission. Colossians 3:17 - 4:1 is today's Scripture.

Pastor Ryan continues on Colossians 3:5-14, 15-17, as Paul in the Holy Spirit explains God's declaration that we are a new community, new in Christ. We are shown in Scripture to avoid the actions that destroy community, and pursue Unity in Christ. We are to now, in addition: • let the Peace of Christ rule • Let the Word of Christ dwell (richly in us) • Do all in the Name of Jesus
