The powerful passage, the great "hymn of Jesus" from Colossians 1:15-20 is two-fold in its deific proclamation: Jesus is Creator of all things and Jesus is Reconciler of all things. Today we focus on His being the Creator, and this is good news for all creation, including you! Psalm 104 is also included in the Scripture we study today.

Here we explore the great historic hymn found in Colossians 1, that great acknowledgement of Christ as God found in vs. 1:15-20. It reveals who Jesus is, and that He is Enough, all that we need to gain access to God and to meet Him. We meet Jesus the very Image of God, the Creator, the Alpha and Omega, the very Tabernacle of God - Hallelujah!

We continue in our new series in the study of Colossians. Pastor Ryan focuses on the introductory prayer of Paul found in verses 1:9-14. Here we find Paul's prayer for wisdom, strength, and salvation surety, revealing God's gifts of rescue bestowed on us: rescue from darkness to light, rescue to the family of God and His Kingdom, rescue from judgement and the giving of forgiveness of sins.

Pastor Ryan explores the archtypical believer who believes..and doubts, in the disciple Thomas. Thomas is not alone in either, and neither are we. In the end, Thomas utters the most complete confession of them all, and remember...who was it that Jesus said are blessed? John 20:24-31 is our Bible passage today.

Jesus appears to the disciples, who are fearful. With mercy, Jesus does not offer them scolding, but mercy, and peace - peace through His presence, and through His call to mission, and gives them the Holy Spirit. As with them, so He does with us. John 20:19-23 is our Scripture today.

In our short sub-series on Jesus' Resurrection, Pastor Ryan focuses on Mary, the first person to see Jesus on bodily resurrection. We hear how Jesus calls Mary to deeper belief, and how she learns more of who Jesus really is, and what He will do. She also learns more of who she is, and what she is called to do. John 20:10-18 is our Scripture passage for today.
