April 16th, 2pm: Al-Van's Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your children, dogs, and your baskets to Al-Van's Adoption Center on April 16th so they can hunt for eggs and possibly win one of the larger prizes! All of the proceeds of this event will go directly toward the day-to-day care of the pets here at Al-Van. Dogs will do individual hunts in the play yard and will receive their own set of eggs with treats and their individual prize. Children will hunt with their age group for candy-filled eggs, tickets for mini prizes and a golden egg for the main prize.

Children can have their pictures taken with the Easter Dog and the Easter mini goat!

Times, age groups, and price

Dogs: 2 p.m. to 3p.m. Entry fee: $10

Children ages 7-12: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Entry fee: $15

Children ages 2-6: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Entry fee: $15

Stop by Chow Hound Pet Supplies in Holland to meet some of our cats and dogs that are available for adoption!

 

July 2nd:  Furry 5K

Sign up to run or walk in the Furry 5K on July 2nd. Dogs are also welcome! Invite a group of your friends to run or walk with you. Many people have company over the 4th of July weekend... encourage them to walk or run with you! It's a great family event, and in the past many families have walked together with cousins, siblings, spouses, and dogs (of course!). It's a really fun morning. All runners and walkers will receive a medal and a t-shirt. Please tell everyone you know about the Furry 5K run or walk!
