Recently Steven Deobald put out a piece on recurring donations, and whilst it doesn't have the best name the point it's making is really good, moving away from lump sum donations to more recurring donations.

BCacheFS has been in hot water many a times, and once again that is happening, once again Linus Torvalds is threatening to pull Bcachefs from the Linux kernel and we'll see if that actually happens this time.

By now I hope you've heard of the Stop Killing Games initiative, if not we're in the final stretch for this movement and there's been a lot of recent buzz about it so hopefully we can smash those goals and get the UK and EU governments to talk on the topic of game preservation

There's been a lot of talk of a project called XLibre as of late but there's another direction we could take in goal of keeping X11 desktops alive and that is being a very light compositor whose soul purpose is running a rootful environment, and that's what wayback does.

Gaming has become a big use case for Linux and Wayland is becoming the way we do things, even in the world of WINE and with that it means gaming related problems like passing primary display information needs to be resolved.

We're moving into a world of Wayland slowly but surely but KDE is doing so quite conservatively so how is that going to go down, GNOME is dropping X11 soon but what about KDE.

It's time for part 4 of Fireborn's series on accessibility, this time it's on the state of Wayland, how the GNOME desktop is actually one of the better options here and what Wayland brings to the table but also loses.
